OJAS: Okinawan Journal of American Studies, a peer reviewed journalpublished by ASCUR (American Studies Center of the University of the Ryukyus) annually in the spring, seeks papers 15-20 pages in length on various aspects of American culture, with an emphasis on (but not limited to) Okinawa, Japan, any other Asian countries, and their relationship with America. Although manuscripts are accepted at any time, the deadline for each issue is December 15. Among recent articles, we have published leading scholars from both science and humanities such as: Patrick D. Murphy, Craig Willcox, Bradley J. Willcox, Dennis Baron, Roger House, Scott Slovic, Gary Y. Okihiro, David Robertson, Darrell Y. Hamamoto, Jorge Duany, Emilio Pantojas-Garcia, and many others.
